Things are changing now that everyone is getting older...this is the first year we have not walked while one or more of the kids were trick-or-treating. Guess I will have to wait for grandkids that are near by to do that!! Melissa walked with some friends for the first time without us and with Halloween being on Friday the older ones had other things to do so were not at the house hanging out with their friends and eating our annual chili and corn bread!! Here is Melissa and her friend Jackie as they were heading out the door....they didn't do much trick-or-treating...the highlight of their night was passing out candy and scaring people (2nd picture)!!
